UTS:INSEARCH is committed to helping more students across the subcontinent achieve academic success so that they can achieve their career aspirations. That’s why we are delighted to launch the new Aspire Scholarship Program.

How can UTS:INSEARCH help you?

  • You’ll complete the first year of your undergraduate degree with us (with a diploma) and then continue on into second year* at UTS.
  • You’ll get to access lots of extra support services such as learning assistance sessions, study skill workshops, academic advisers and one-on-one tutorials.
  • You’ll benefit from smaller classes as you adjust to the Australian way or learning.
  • You’ll learn in a modern city campus – within the UTS precinct and surrounded by the top start-up firms in Australia.
  • *Depends on the course you choose and based on no more than 2 subject failures.


    About the Scholarship Program

    We are committing more than 700 scholarships valued at A$5,000 for commencing academic students from 2017-2020.

    The A$5,000 scholarship grants will be awarded to students who meet the scholarship requirements for eligible programs, listed below:

    India DIPLOMA Year 12 ISC/CBSE with academic subjects 65% or Year 12 Maharashtra, Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, Kerala and West Bengal State Boards 65% or Year 12. Other State Boards 70% (best 4 relevant academic subjects)
    Nepal DIPLOMA 70% Higher Secondary Certificate (10+2)
    Bangladesh DIPLOMA HSC 2nd Division 58%.
    GCE: 2 A level passes at D grade
    Sri-Lanka DIPLOMA GCE: 2 A level passes with C grade
    FOUNDATION GCE O Levels - 4 passes (academic subjects only) Foundation (extended)
    GCE O Levels - 4 passes with B (very good pass) average (academic subjects only) - Foundation (standard)
    Pakistan DIPLOMA High School Certificate (1st division) with 65%
    FOUNDATION Completion of High School Certificate with minimum 55% (2nd Div)
    IB qualification DIPLOMA 23

    Terms and Conditions

    • Offer open to students with a passport from India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka & Nepal
    • Students must commence their academic program in Semester 2 or 3 2017, or any semester in 2018, 2019, 2020.
    • Student must meet the academic entry requirement and with 5 marks above the minimum academic requirement. See above referenced table for full details.
    • India, Nepal, Bangladesh students are eligible only for Diploma. (Students applying for FDN or FDN+DIP are not eligible for this scholarship). Pakistan or Sri Lanka students can apply for Foundation or Diploma programs.
    • Students deferring to a later year (2021 and beyond) will not be eligible for this scholarship
    • The scholarship will be applied to the 2nd semester tuition fee
    • This scholarship is not redeemable in cash and is non-transferable
