When your child’s studies with UTS Insearch are coming to an end, it’s time to start preparing for their move into UTS. To be set up for a successful transfer, it will help to know what to expect and what they need to do.

When students successfully complete their studies at UTS Insearch, whether it be in UTS Foundation Studies or a diploma, they will receive guaranteed entry* to their desired UTS undergraduate degree. In fact, most of our diplomas will take them straight into the second year of their UTS degree.

About UTS

When does UTS Start?

There are two Intakes in the UTS Calendar, Autumn (March) and Spring (July).

How does it work?

If your child has met the entry requirements (please refer to articulation guidelines for Domestic Students or your child's UTS Insearch Offer Letter for International students) for the nominated Bachelor’s degree, they will receive an Offer Letter by email.

What does your child need to do?

There will be a CANVAS announcement on the UTS Insearch HELPS page for a UTS Faculty Transfer session and an Application Process Transfer session. Students will also be sent an email invite to their UTS email.

UTS Faculty Transfer sessions and Application Process Transfer sessions are held in Week 5 and 6 of every semester for students in their final semester of UTS Foundation Studies or diploma programs. Details of UTS degrees and majors are discussed by UTS Faculty members and the process of transferring to UTS, on successful completion of their UTS Insearch studies.

Alumni Communities

Students will be a part of the UTS Insearch Alumni Club, which aims to provide help to students transitioning from UTS Insearch to UTS through social events, information and tips, and networking opportunities in our Alumni Community.

Once they graduate from UTS, students become part of a global network of creative and innovative people – from game-changing industry, government and community leaders right through to Hollywood superstars. With over 225,000 alumni living and working across the world, they’ll be connected through a network International UTS Alumni community.

* For international students enrolled in the UTS Foundation Studies program, guaranteed entry to UTS is based on achieving the required Grade Point Average (GPA). For domestic students enrolled in UTS Insearch diploma program, guaranteed entry to UTS is based on achieving the required GPA.
