Welcome Week is the first week of your first academic semester at UTS College. It’s an exciting time when you’ll find out everything you need to know at the start of your program to set yourself up for success. Attendance at Welcome Week is mandatory, but it’s also a lot of fun.

You can expect an email with information about your Welcome Week. It will tell you when and where you need to arrive. It’s important to understand that Welcome Week information may change, so please keep checking your UTS email account and the important dates page for the most up-to-date information.
Tuesday 27th February to Friday 1st March 2024

Remember, Welcome Week is the start of your program. It’s mandatory and a key part of your study success, so you’re expected to attend.
If you’re an international student and experience a delay, for example a delay with your visa, you can arrive up until the end of the first week of classes. This is only allowed if visas are delayed or for some other serious reason.
If your arrival is delayed, contact the Student Centre to enrol and get ready for classes as soon as you arrive. If you don’t complete your arrangements, your enrolment could be cancelled. If you’re an international student, this will impact your visa.
