The UTS Faculty of Information Technology is one of the prestigious providers of information technology education in Australia. The faculty has a practical approach to teaching, enhanced by extensive research experience.
Undergraduate IT programs are closely aligned with industry and attract sponsorship and support from major international firms such as Delloite, Altris and Alcatel. UTS graduates are among the most successful and sought after in the IT industry, enjoying high rates of employment in Australia and internationally. Between October 2004 and April 2005, 91% of UTS students with an undergraduate IT degree were in full-time employment (Source: 2005 Graduate Destination Survey conducted by the Careers Council of Australia).
