The UTS Faculty of Design, Architecture and Building has an international reputation for cutting-edge, professional coursework programs. Undergraduate courses are offered in the areas of construction, architecture, fashion and textile design, industrial design, interior design, property economics and visual communication. All courses include a practical component.
The Faculty's facilities include modern spaces for exhibitions and conferences; professional teaching spaces equipped with state-of-the-art computers; photographic studio supported by digital technology; an industrial design workshop space; a creative imaging laboratory incorporating high-level software for 3D computing animation, 3D modelling, the moving image and interactive media; a broadcast quality video studio and editing suite; fashion and textile design workshops and building laboratory.
All courses include work placements and practical workshops on campus.
