SYDNEY INSTITUTE OF LANGUAGE AND COMMERCE (SILC)    SILC is an institution operated under a cooperation agreement between INSEARCH and Shanghai University. This unique institute offers a variety of courses with flexible study options including the opportunity to take up study pathways in Australia at UTS as well as Shanghai University. Degree and double degree programs (from Shanghai University and UTS) are offered in the areas of economics, business and information systems. IELTS training and English courses are also available through SILC.    SILC offers a pathway to a degree at Shanghai University, one of China’s premier universities with a rich diversity of disciplines that encompass 56 undergraduate programs and 64 master’s programs. With a research orientation, Shanghai University is renowned as a first rate comprehensive university.    INSEARCH offers a pathway through SILC that enables students to complete their studies at the University of Technology, Sydney. By undertaking an INSEARCH diploma at SILC students will be preparing for a smooth transition into an Australian university.
