This four semester course provides a bridge for students to enter into their desired fields. All the subjects in the course are directly related to university studies enabling students to focus on their particular area of interest immediately.
Students wishing to enter into UTS science and engineering courses will receive 48 RPL credit points on graduation, which is equivalent to one year of advanced standing at UTS. You will still be required to complete some first year subjects to complete your science or engineering degree. However, you will receive exemptions from some second year subjects.

However, they are eligible to apply for entry into the Bachelor of Engineering, Diploma in Engineering Practice which incorporates one year of professional practice and leads to an industry qualification.

ARTICULATION REQUIREMENTS TO UTS
International Students graduating with a Weighted Average Mark (WAM) of 60 will be guaranteed a place in most UTS Bachelor of Science courses. The Bachelor of Forensic Science in Applied Chemistry and the Bachelor of Forensic Biology in Biomedical Science require a WAM of 75. Students must graduate with a WAM of 65 to be guaranteed a place in various majors of the UTS engineering degree. Please see above table for specific WAMs required.

English Requirements: IELTS (Academic Module) overall score of 5.5, writing score 5, TOEFL 525 plus TWE 4.0, computer based TOEFL 195 plus TWE 4.0, completion of AEP 8.
