INSEARCH is a registered Australian higher education institution and a pathway provider to the University of Technology, Sydney (UTS). Insearch delivers higher education diplomas, English programs and on behalf of UTS, UTS Foundation Studies.
INSEARCH offers pathways to UTS in the areas of:
INSEARCH has been educating students for over twenty years and is an important part of the UTS community. INSEARCH students have access to UTS facilities which enables them to experience university life while studying at INSEARCH. The majority of INSEARCH diploma courses provide up to 48 credit points of advanced standing, which is equivalent to one year of study at UTS.

UTS FOUNDATION STUDIES
Offered on behalf of the University of Technology, Sydney, UTS Foundation Studies is a pathway to UTS undergraduate degree programs and INSEARCH higher education diplomas. Designed for students who have completed the equivalent of an Australian year 11 or 12, UTS Foundation Studies prepares students for undergraduate study in Australia.
UTS Foundation Studies is offered as an 8 or 12 month program. Students can choose from six different streams: Arts and Social Sciences, Business, Design and Architecture, Nursing and Health Sciences, Information Technology or Physical Sciences. Each stream contains two core subjects, Academic English and Digital Literacies, and three subjects related to the discipline of the stream.
International students who successfully complete the UTS Foundation Studies program with the required GPA (Grade Point Average) and grade in Academic English are guaranteed a place in the first year of an undergraduate bachelor degree at UTS. Students who do not achieve the grades required for admission to their UTS undergraduate degree of choice are guaranteed a place in the corresponding INSEARCH higher education diploma provided that they meet the academic and English language admission requirements.
The UTS Foundation Studies program meets the requirements for Foundation Programs which have been registered on CRICOS for delivery in Australia to overseas students providing an academic preparation for seeking entry to first year undergraduate study or its equivalent. - National Standards for Foundation Programs
DIPLOMA COURSES
International students graduating from the new INSEARCH diplomas (from Semester Two 2010 onwards) are guaranteed a place in the corresponding undergraduate degree at UTS if they successfully complete their Insearch Diploma with no more than two subject failures. Graduates from an Insearch Diploma will receive up to 48 credit points of recognised prior learning (RPL) or advanced standing (please see each diploma page for details on credit points.)
The Business, Engineering and Information Technology faculties at UTS also offer mid-year intakes for INSEARCH diploma students. Please consult UTS International for more details regarding mid year intakes.
