TRANSFER ARRANGEMENTS FOR DOMESTIC STUDENTS

Domestic Students: UTS Foundation Studies to INSEARCH Diploma

On completion of the UTS Foundation Studies Program, Domestic students will be offered a place in an INSEARCH Diploma if they meet the academic (10 point GPAs) requirements. Click here to view.

Domestic Students: UTS Foundation Studies to 1st Year of UTS Degree

Domestic students who satisfactorily complete UTS Foundation Studies at Insearch must compete with other non-current school leavers for the offer of a Commonwealth Supported Place (CSP) at UTS.

Students receive a GPA (Grade Point Average) on a 10-point scale when they complete the UTS Foundation Studies program. Domestic students’ GPAs are then converted to a nominal ATAR (Australian Tertiary Entry Rank). UTS uses the nominal ATAR to determine whether an offer will be made.

The ATAR cut-offs for UTS courses are determined each year and may vary from year to year and from course to course. In the semester before domestic students apply for a place at UTS, Insearch will organise an information session to inform them of the process and the likely requirements. Students can also discuss transfer details with an Insearch Academic Adviser at any stage.

The UTS Foundation Studies program meets the requirements for Foundation Programs which have been registered on CRICOS for delivery in Australia to overseas students providing an academic preparation for seeking entry to first year undergraduate study or its equivalent.
