Program (AEP)

At a glance

Duration:	Each AEP level is 100 hours over five weeks
Class times:	8:30am - 1:00pm Monday to Friday or 1.30pm - 6.00pm Monday to Friday
Fee:	$425.00 per week  ($2125.00 for five weeks)

Overview

You will learn skills in essay writing, seminar participation, researching, listening, note-taking and academic reading. Students are provided with course materials especially designed to address the English language skills required for academic study at university level.

IELTS and TOEFL test scores act as a guide to place you at the correct level to start your course. If you don't have an IELTS or TOEFL score you will be asked to sit a short placement test on arrival. Estimating the number of weeks you need to study English depends on your current language level and your ultimate academic goal. For more information see the English entry requirement guidelines. 

Each AEP level runs for one five-week term with 100 hours of face-to-face tuition (20 hours per week). You are expected to spend an additional five hours per week in self-access learning in the INSEARCH Learning Centre, where English language teachers are on hand to help you.
