Overview of diploma of design

The Diploma of Design (Visual Communication) has been designed for students to implement their research, analysis, problem-solving, visual and synthesis skills, communicating their original concepts and ideas through diverse images and words and to produce convincing presentations about their findings.
On completion of the Diploma of Design, graduates should be able to apply the visible language used by designers to develop original concepts and to effectively communicate these to a target audience as well as being able to develop visual solutions to design problems through a process of progressive refinement, reflection, critical analysis and evaluation.
