INSEARCH has successfully developed and managed study abroad programs over many years for universities and educational institutions from Japan, Korean, China, North America and other countries.

INSEARCH provides English language training and academic pathway courses to the University of Technology Sydney (UTS). As a wholly owned part of UTS - one of Australia’s largest and most-respected universities – we are uniquely placed to provide quality courses, many of which are developed and taught in conjunction with UTS.

Strong academic partnerships

Partnering with universities comes naturally to INSEARCH. We have operated in partnership with UTS since our formation 30 years ago and have actively forged mutually beneficial partnerships with a number of international universities. Today, we also jointly run an educational program in China with Shanghai University. In addition to these universities, we also operate partnerships with educational organisations in Vietnam and Indonesia.

Experienced in corporate partnerships

Our international partnership experience goes beyond universities to encompass teaching English to corporate groups. We have provided English language courses to groups such as the Ho Chi Minh City Power Company and the Japanese Police Group.

Excellence in English courses

The most popular study abroad program is the five week intensive Academic English Program. With 10 levels on offer within the Academic English Program we can target our courses to the specific needs of your students. All of our Academic English courses are designed in conjunction with UTS and as a result focus on the writing and academic skills required for success at university.

We also offer General English which give students the opportunity to focus on conversation and English for everyday use. If students wish to take part in more intense English language study they can choose additional evening or Saturday classes from our part-time English course range.

We also offer high quality online and state-of-the-art learning centre resources available to students at no extra charge. Furthermore, as INSEARCH is a large university language centre in a university environment your students’ learning experience will be enhanced by the many opportunities they will have to interact with people from all over the world.

Integrated learning environment

We normally integrate study abroad participants into our standard classes so that they are placed into a level suited to their skills and needs. Their wider learning experience is also enhanced through interaction with fellow classmates from many parts of the world.

Please note that we pride ourselves on our flexibility. Larger groups may be taught together as a group and in special circumstances we can tailor the content of a program to a specific teaching need.

Extensive support

You will receive extensive personalised academic, managerial and administrative support for your study abroad program. Specific areas of support include:

• Transfers of credits: where appropriate, we will help facilitate the transfer of student credits back to your organisation and develop the necessary memorandum of understanding between both of our organisations.

• Accommodation: homestay accommodation and an airport welcome can be included as part of the study abroad package.

• Activities: although our focus is on delivering the strongest possible academic training, we can also incorporate off-campus vocational, cultural and tourist excursions into the program.
